The 7-18 Trash Pandas take on the 2-22 Lugnuts in an epic showdown on Field 2 at Sky Hill Thursday Night.
Pandas are coming off a split series with the Space Cowboys on Monday night that showed off the Jekyll & Hyde nature of the Pandas season, being shutdown in a perfect game in game 1, while walking off the Cowboys in the bottom of the 9th in game 2, narrowly avoiding the franchise’s first ever Jack Off finish.
The Lugnuts have struggled with attendance all season after the shocking & cowardly retirement of Franklin after playing in just two games this season, although Hoover’s return from vacation & Twizzler’s arrival after summer break have shored up numbers more recently. They’re also coming off a Monday series, dropping two to the Yankees.
Weather & lights pending, look for the teams to add a dramatic game 3 to the mix tonight as well, especially with the Bears & Space Cowboys on Field 1.
